PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Therapist Greenhouse ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through therapistgreenhouse.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Contact information — such as your first name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, join a challenge (like the 7-Day Self-Care Challenge for Practice Builders), or download a resource.

  • Booking information — such as your name, email, phone number, and practice details when you schedule a call or audit through our scheduling tool.

  • Messages — anything you send us through contact forms or email.

  • Payment and billing information — if you purchase services, payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store your full card details.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data — pages visited, time on page, links clicked, and referring website.

  • Device data — browser type, device type, operating system, and IP address.

  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive health information through this Site, and we ask that you not submit any client or patient information through our forms.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the content you requested (newsletters, challenges, downloads);

  • Schedule and conduct consultations and provide services;

  • Respond to your questions and messages;

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;

  • Understand how visitors use the Site (analytics);

  • Send marketing emails about our services and resources, which you can opt out of at any time;

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal information.

Legal Bases (for visitors in the EEA/UK)

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on: your consent (e.g., email subscriptions), performance of a contract (e.g., providing services you request), our legitimate interests (e.g., operating and improving the Site), and compliance with legal obligations.

Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for them to perform their services:

  • Website hosting and forms: Wix

  • Email marketing: [Flodesk]

  • Scheduling: [Wix Bookings]

  • Payments: [e.g., Stripe / PayPal / Wix Payments / Teachery / Thrive Cart]

  • Analytics: [e.g., Google Analytics / Wix Analytics]

These providers are contractually limited to using your information to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a sale or merger), in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information.

Email Communications

When you subscribe to our newsletter, a challenge, or a resource download, we will send you the requested content plus our ongoing newsletter with practice-growth tips and occasional offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly. We will never sell or rent your email address.

Cookies and Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the Site. Some cookies are set by Wix (necessary for site functionality) and some by analytics tools.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law, through the cookie banner on the Site. Disabling cookies may affect some Site features.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy: email subscriber information until you unsubscribe (plus a suppression record so we don't email you again), client records for the duration of our engagement plus the period required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, and analytics data per the retention settings of our analytics provider.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;

  • Correct inaccurate information;

  • Delete your personal information;

  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time;

  • Portability — receive a copy of your information in a usable format;

  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

California residents: You have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

EEA/UK visitors: You have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the rights listed above and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support [at] therapistgreenhouse.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including the security measures provided by our hosting and service providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18 (and in no case under 13). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and social media platforms. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
